I am Mark Diaz, an international theatre practitioner born in Los Angeles, seeking a collaborative laboratory to incubate ideas for community-centered, globally informed theatre. My journey has been guided by curiosity, travel, and hands-on learning across cultures—from kabuki and Noh in Japan to Shakespeare and Mime in Europe. I believe theatre is born from love, a boundless expression of human joy, and that its purpose is to connect, inspire, and reflect the communities it touches. Im inspired by Total Theatre: the full integration of voice, movement, acting skill, and the people present, onstage and off. I aim to create spaces where artists and audiences alike feel included, uplifted, and engaged in shared humanity. My mission is to grow theatre as a living, intercultural, ethical practice for today’s global community.
