As an educator, Mark has guest lectured at Pomona College, Washington & Lee University, Ryokoku University, The Athenian School, Chaminade College Preparatory, as well as hosted workshops around the Globe.

Mark's classes intrdouce world theatre at a university level to students of all ages, inspring an embodied practice through the practical and reinforcing with deep knowledge of the theoretical and history of different forms.

University lectures include: acting scene study, introduction to directing, introduction to playwrighting, fundamentals of kabuki movement, gambuh movement, corporeal mime, physical theatre, viewpoints, world theatre history, theatre appreciaiton, approahcing intercultural theatre, text analysis, and Shakespeare.
